Founded by Tina Dikamba, her dream was simple yet profound: to share the rich tapestry of flavors from their African heritage with the world. With a commitment to authenticity and quality, he embarked on their gastronomic odyssey, starting with a catering service that quickly gained a loyal following.

As word of mouth spread and demand surged, Tina saw an opportunity to expand her reach and elevate her offerings. In 2019, she made a bold move, transitioning from catering to the mobile culinary scene with the launch of their food truck. From street corners to festivals, the aroma of sizzling chicken and fragrant spices wafted through the air, enchanting all who crossed her path.

But her ambition knew no bounds. Fuelled by her love for sharing her culture through food, Tina envisioned a space where the essence of Africa could be savored and celebrated. In 2023, her vision became reality with the opening of the first African food court in Alberta, nestled within the Bonnie Doon Mall. Here, amidst the bustling atmosphere and eclectic mix of vendors, D4J's stood out as a beacon of authenticity, offering a culinary journey like no other.
